The jacket is a product that delivers on the money I put into it.I use this jacket everyday during the summer months and when I can during the winter months. The outer layer is made of a very quality nylon fabric. The waterproof/windproof layer` functions exactly as it should. The thermal layer is there but in my experience does not do as much as I thought it would. I have worn this jacket in less then 40 degree temperatures. I had to wear a long sleeve silk undershirt but the jacket kept most of the cold out for the 20 miles to my college. The layers are attached via buttons and zippers. The only complaint I have is that on the right sleeve the attachments for the wind barrier and the outer shell are in the wrong spot. When connecting them the windproof layer twists inside the sleeve of the outer shell constricting the passage. It is not user error I have tried every position to fix the problem. it's irritating when wearing the jacket and feeling the right sleeve to be more constricting at the wrist then the left. For that I will take one star away. That is the only gripe I have about this otherwise great jacket. Thanks for your time.

this is a beautiful leather , with fine embroidery and beautiful even on the inner part of the jacket. It does run snug with all the armor inside. Although it is removable if you want, I would suggest a size up if you do keep all the armor on which will enable you to wear a heavier top with it. All in all, satisfies with the shipping and jacket really is beautiful. Can't wait to show it off!!!

This stylish jacket comes equipped with CE approved body armor on the arms, shoulders and back, two front zip pockets, two 12-inch vertical front zip vents and two back vents, reflective piping on the arms and shoulders, spandex on the sleeves and on the sides, and reinforced padding on shoulder tops. Inside there is a zip pocket and a snap pocket, plus a cell phone pocket, zip-out vest lining, snap collar, YKK zippers and hardware.
Two major points: this jacket is heavy, and it is extremely well made. The zippers are heavy duty, and the leather is sewn so as to cover them up. The leather tassels on the zipper pulls even tuck into the area along the zipper that is covered by the jacket leather. It's also warm and windproof. I've been riding in forty degree weather, and with other suitable clothes it's quite comfortable, at least for twenty minute trips.The fit is snug, especially around my stomach, but this is probably a statement of my physical condition rather than any problem with the jacket.Overall a great jacket and I'm very pleased with it.

I have been riding 2 wheels for 40 years and owned numerous jackets and rode in all kinds of weather. This is a great jacket. Ordered on Wednesday night and received it Friday. It was packaged well and exactly what I had been looking for. Heavy leather, nice liner and felt already broken in. The zippers are all heavy duty and it was true to size. I wear an extra large in shirts and jackets. I ordered an XL and the fit was perfect. The sleeves are long enough to accomodate riding. It conforms well to your body while riding without bunching up around your mid section or neck. It is distressed just enough to look a bit broken-in but not as if it was intentional. All the pockets are roomy and the inner pockets ar enot evident while wearing the jacket. Great for concealed carry. I had looked for over 5 months to find the perfect riding jacket and this is the one. I spoke to customer service at Amazon and got all the reassurance I needed that my questions about size and specifications were what I expected. I would definately buy it again and would buy it from Amazon as other vendors do not return calls or e-mails in my recent experience. This jacket should last a good many years if taken care of and when it finally wears out, I hope they are still making them. This is the best buy I found for the money anywhere.

I had been in the market for a new leather jacket for quite some time before I stumbled upon this find. I am an avid motorcycle rider and needed something that would offer protection and style, this jacket provides both! I feel comfortable wearing this jacket both on and off of my bike. The leather is supple and the tobacco color is outstanding! It is cut perfectly and fits snug, as leather jackets should. There's no doubt that anyone in this jacket will get compliments, as I have. I also like the fact that armor plates can be added for additional protection. Roland Sands hit a home-run with this one! The price may seem steep, but this is a quality jacket that will last for years and years. Just buy it already!

I researched alot of jackets. I found this jacket had everything I wanted. I tried on several jackets at my local dealer, and as usual Scorpion knocked it out of the park. I'm 6 foot tall, weigh 239 pounds and the extra large fit well. The extra removable layers are a good bonus, and there is alot of room to move while riding. I don't feel constricted at all. Nice jacket for the money.

I am new to motorcycle riding. I bought this jacket after reading a bunch of reviews online. I could not be happier with this jacket. I rode home yesterday for 25 miles all highway in 40 degree pouring down rain. I made it all the way home dry as a bone. I was very impressed. I expected to be wet and cold by the time I got there. I strongly recommend this jacket for anyone looking for a 3 season jacket, spring, fall, winter. I think it will be a little bit too warm for 90 degree summer days. but up to 80 is probably fine.

I love this jacket. I have used it in the winter and summer. It is warm at 40 degrees and with the liner removed very cool in the summer. Air passes right thru. I get sweaty a bit were the back pads are but its really comfortable and I dont notice I was sweating untill I take it off. The elbow pads do slide down every time you take it off but stay in place while riding. I removed them from there pockets. I havent noticed any neck buffeting like some of the others. I have a R1 street bike and a dual sport with no windscreen. I wear a large T shirt and ordered the large with a great fit.

Really, there are NO GOOD WORDS to describe how great this jacket is!Be aware: THIS THING IS HEAVY!!! And this is precisely because it offers an outstanding protection against falls.On one of my rides a heavy rain surprised me in the course of the road. It was 2 hours until I reached my destination; 2 hours full of rain over me, all the time! I didn't feel cold, I didn't feel uncomfortable; it wasn't a problem really because I was wearing my loved Firstgear leather jacket! And the best of all, at the place I arrived (a lovely restaurant in the middle of the road), when I took my jacket off I was TOTALLY dry inside! Not even a drop of water over my t-shirt! And when I continued my trip (once the rain stopped), the jacket came dry very quickly. Really amazing!When I wear the jacket it feels very comfortable. On the riding position there is no problem, and the helmet never touches the jacket, which is an important factor of this jacket design.The jacket comes PLENTY of pockets everywhere, inside and outside. Scorpion Hat Trick Black Phantom Mesh and Fabric Motorcycle Jacket
Jacket probably coulda gotten 5 stars except for one thing. The zipper at the end of the sleeves wants to come unzipped sometimes and there's no way to lock it. It would be nice if there was some velcro or something at the end to keep them zipped.Otherwise it feels great. I've ridden in some pretty chilly temps in the 30's and it has kept me warm. Also with the built-in armor guards, I feel alot safer riding. Not to mention it's a good-looking jacket too.

LOVE MY JACKET! It is amazing! The pads are great and durable. The jacket is as well. Let's in a little too much wind for my taste, but overall I can't complain!

I've owned many, many leather jackets in the last 20 years. This jacket is the nicest one I've owned up to this point. A TRUE biker jacket in every respect.The first thing I noticed when it arrived was the substantial weight of the jacket.
